Talk Title:

Enabling Decision Support via Big Data Analytics and IoT

Abstract

The evolution of big data solutions with data analytics and IoT enabled the realization of innovative decision support systems and smart solutions in the context of smart city and industry 4.0, for control rooms and resilient systems. The keynote will present the evolution of those solutions in the recent years. Most of the them moved from vertical solutions to fully integrated and distributed IoT data driven architectures based on microservices, exploiting event driven and Digital Twin approaches. The evolution is going to present  the cases passing from a number of very large international projects in the context of Smart Cities and on the recent innovations in the domain of Industry 4.0.
